Mike Hewitt

Mike has been in the local insurance industry for over 20 years. Working with several local brokers, he has dealt with many local businesses, both large and small. Mike joined NPIB in July 2006 as branch manager at Downham Market. With his extensive experience he covers the full spectrum of business insurance issues.

Kim Griffin

Having spent the early part of his career with the Prudential, Kim established his own insurance brokerage in 1989. He sold the business to NPIB in 2004, and joined our team at Downham Market. With over 30 years’ experience, Kim understands the needs of every sector but specialises in construction, manufacturing and farming. 

Will Howett

Will has been employed in the local insurance industry for 24 years. Beginning his career with the Prudential, he set up his own brokerage in 1993. In 2003 Will sold the business to NPIB, creating the Cromer office with his staff. With Will’s experience of the industry and the locality, he is involved in placing a variety of insurances but specialises in small to medium businesses.

Jonathan Thomas

A Customer Advisor specialising in commercial insurance for small and medium-sized enterprises, Jon has been with us for 12 years. In that time he has developed real depth of experience in assessing a variety of business risks. These include liability provision for sole traders to multiple premises cover for professionals and property owners.

Marcus Bowyer

Marcus has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance and financial services industry. He joined NPIB in March 2003 from Wesleyan Financial Services, where he was a Senior Commercial Account Executive. Marcus continues to specialise in commercial insurance, supporting Jon Thomas and Julie Branton. With a hands-on approach with customer service and business performance at its heart, Marcus has laid the foundations for continued expansion of the branch.

Julie Branton

Julie began her career with General Accident going on to work for a number of other brokers, including Willis, before joining NPIB in 2006 as Branch Manager of Woodbridge. She is now a Commercial Sales Executive offering a bespoke service for clients and generating new business. Julie comments: “My role is rewarding and gives me the opportunity of providing both existing and new clients with the best advice and service which is key to the Norwich & Peterborough".

Steve Crowe

Steve has been employed in the Norwich Area for over 30 years both with Norwich Union and with a local broker. He has been involved in placing all forms of commercial insurance, with particular emphasis on construction and property insurance.
