Annual General Meeting 2008

AS a member of Norwich and Peterborough Building Society you are entitled to have a say on the way N&P  is run.

Every year, in April, the Society holds its Annual General Meeting, and it is ahead of this meeting that we ask you to exercise your members’ rights. This means you can vote on the Society’s report and accounts, elect directors and vote on the remuneration policy.

All customers who are eligible to vote should have received their voting pack in the post by now. This will enable you to register your vote by post or online. If you haven’t had your pack, please call 0845 300 2511.

There is no excuse not to vote – especially as this year for every vote N&P will donate 50p to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

Every vote will count  – be it online, by post or in branch. If every eligible member voted, the Society would be able to donate around £135,000 to the charity.

Chief executive Matthew Bullock says: “It is very important to the Society that our members use their vote. And we would love to give EACH a boost as a result.”

So dig out that voting pack, and, if you haven’t already done so, please vote – it’s easy and won’t take long. Return your completed proxy form by post or drop it into your local branch. Alternatively, you can vote online at  www.votebyinternet.com/npbs08

All members are also welcome to attend the AGM and vote at the meeting itself.

The Society’s AGM will this year be held at St Andrew’s Hall in Norwich on Monday, April 28 at 6pm.
